I have paid for cellular service through AT&T and Verizon. Both companies are neck and neck in a race to bottom. (If hell had cell phones one of these two companies would run its network.) Their customer service is unaccountably bad. I have wasted countless hours on the phone with their representatives and each time it was like torture without reward.
I switched to T-mobile in 2004 and never looked back. T-mobile has saved me many many hours of grief and pockets of money. If AT&T or Verizon released a phone that doubled as a yacht and laid golden eggs I’d still refuse to use their service. If this merger goes through, I will end service with T-mobile and try my hand at Google voice or no phone at all. Please shut this merger down.
